I"ve been a cop for quite a while now and it kinda irks me when I see online ads falsely claiming that you must obtain a criminal justice degree in order to become a cop. Every time I see it, I wonder if the FTC will step in and shut them down, but because online ads are so loosely regulated it might never happen. For now, I"m trying my best to get the word out that you don"t need a college degree in order to become a police officer. Can it help you? Absolutely, but it is not a requirement. Some departments, not many though require at least a 2 year degree before you can apply. But the majority only require that you have common sense, clean record, and good communication skills.


How do get started in the modelling world

Be prepared with every thing you need, before going for a modelling assignment. If you are in the thinking that your client will arrange everything then it is a wrong thought as only you can decide what fits you and what not. Another segment where more concentration is essential is your make-up. Even though there will be a make up man in the set but don"t rely fully upon them. It is always advisable to have your own make up man and take him wherever you go. It is always good to have some professionals by your side, so try to collect some references as much as you can in the fashion and modelling industry. It will help you, when you get a big assignment.

If you happen to meet any people who are famous in the fashion industry then get their phone numbers and email ids. Keep in touch with them as they will help you to move forward in the career in the right direction in order to build a successful career. You have to be very cautious while keeping each step in a career as it is a business which is very competitive and challenging. When you sign a contract for an assignment you should be aware of the content in the contract with respect to payment and lot more. If you are not interested then you can reject it politely. Your reputation will get affected if you disrespect your clients as it is unpredictable that who will bring the next big assignment for you. So you should deal with care and caution.

Reputation and self promotion are the very important factors that will take you long way in the modelling industry. Be smart and neat in every activity before you step into the career as a wrong word,or step will give you adverse result.
